Okay, I lied about not posting anything for a week.

But it's better if I keep posting the stuff I draw, cuz otherwise, I'd spend hours fixing the same pic and not moving on to the next one, so yeah...

This is the result of one of my many attempts at drawing something super quick that still looks decent.
I just REALLY wanted to draw Gil ~~because it's already been 2 weeks since I haven't drawn him~~. I did the sketch one day and decided to slap some colours on it 5 days later, so I don't know how long it took me, but probably not longer than 45-60 minutes. Paint Tool Sai. Enjoy my fugly sketchy lines!

I still think he's a very lovable character. He's sort of an idiot and has lots of flaws, but he lives to protect others (especially his precious master) and tries to do his best at it. I like to dis him and call him a buttmonkey, but that's because I actually love him to death.

Facial expression and colors, I don't think I could elaborate on that without taking up half a page so I'll just stop there~ Except I love how sunset-y it is~ And how the shading on the back of his jacket disappears into white~ And that smile is just dreamy~
Also, his hair is perfectly seaweedy in this~

Haha! Thanks! The background came first here. It set the mood for a sunset-y colour scheme. I really wish I could draw such fast but decent looking sketches now. TT___TT
