Actually, Sinbad looks more like a kitsune or kitty in this form, but Valefor claims to be a wolf, so...

I started the sketch of this exactly 11 months and 27 days ago. I just began drawing this to test some new Sai brushes, then put it away and forgot about it for a looong time. Sometimes it's a good thing if you barely improve in 1 year, because I could still finish it now without completely despising it. I think I plagiarized the pose from somewhere but I can no longer remember where I got the reference from.
Anyway I wanted to finish this as a tribute to the finale of the Sinbad no Bouken anime that aired last weekend. The anime felt painfully short (especially with half of it being the same as the OVA eps), but it was good while it lasted. It’s always nice to see manga characters and scenes come to life in animation.
I can't help it guys, I think Sinbad in Valefor equip is adorable af. Ok, Sinbad is always adorable, but OMG SOOO FLUFFY. I'm not sure how many tails he has, tho. 7 or 9?
